OCGA Senior School Musical Alumni Night

Last week's inaugural OCGA Senior School Musical Alumni Night was a huge success as we came together to celebrate forty years of Carey Musicals. Over 130 past students and parents, who have previously been involved in Carey's Musicals, came together to reminisce on old shows and reconnect with old friends, before watching the 2024 Senior School Musical, Legally Blonde. We were delighted to have in attendance cast members from Carey's first Senior School Musical, The Gondoliers as well as David Morgan, David Crawshaw and Tim Schwerdt who have directed 37 of Carey's 40 musicals. Following the pre-show event attendees went across to watch the 2024 Carey Senior School Musical Legally Blonde. The group were all seated together, booking out nearly the entire downstairs seats! Our passionate group of past students and parents provided a supportive, energetic and enthusiastic audience atmosphere and it was a very special moment when they all rose together to give a collective standing ovation to the students; the first that they had received during the season of performances!
