Calling Carey Women Alumni Golfers: Join Us for the Women’s Inter-School Golf Challenge Cup!  

Carey Grammar School is excited to announce its participation in the prestigious Women’s Inter-School Golf Challenge Cup (WIGCC) and we’re calling all female alumni golfers to get in touch. 

The WIGCC has been uniting female alumni of Victorian Independent Schools since 1929 and recently celebrated its 95th year. In exciting news, Carey was accepted to participate this year and our inaugural team had the honour of competing in March at the Yarra Yarra Golf Club. Pictured below are the members of our first team: Deanna Atkins (Evans, 1984), Meg Hermann (2017), Tiffany Cherry (1989), and Anna Molony (Boland, 1985).    
 

The next WIGCC event is scheduled for March 2025 at the Sorrento Golf Club. We are actively seeking female alumni players who hold a current Golf Australia Handicap (limit 35) to enjoy a friendly and relaxed 18-hole golf game followed by a delightful lunch.
