Empowering Social Change: OCGA's Impact Beyond the Campus
Wednesday, 22 May 2024

The OCGA's Social Impact Committee welcomes applications for grants from members of the Carey community to start or grow initiatives that have the potential to significantly impact the community and which would otherwise struggle to secure funding.

Kellie Cleland (1988) has recently joined the committee and is pleased to have connected with other committee members focusing on how OCGA can support start up initiative. Kellie has worked in many roles that focus on fundraising and community impact and is excited to be supporting the OCGA to focus on how, as Carey Alumni we can fund and support social change.

Grant Round 2 opens is currently opened and closes on 21 June 2024. If you have started a charity or have an idea for a charitable initiative and you are a current or past Carey student or have a storing and ongoing connection to a student or alumni please review the application and the process.

"During grant round 2 for 2024 it will be exciting to see what Carey students are focusing on in their social impact activities and if a small grant from OCGA can assist them to achieve their goals” said Kellie Cleland, as the call for applications goes out to the Carey community. "When we meet to consider the applications in July 2024 and make recommendations to the OCGA Council it will be great to reflect on what is important to our current students and alumni."

The Social Impact committee encourage everyone to review the application for, consider the process and reach out if there are any questions.
