OCGA Christmas Celebration and HLM Awards

On the Thursday 1 December, the OCGA hosted a Christmas Celebration in the Jeffery O. Thomas Quadrangle at Carey. This annual event offers a time to reflect on the past year. It provides an opportunity to thank the alumni, past and present staff and the wider community, who have contributed their time and expertise, helping make 2022 a successful year. At this Christmas Celebration, the OCGA was proud to welcome Sally Richards (1980) and Alan Rowe (1964) as the newest Honoured Life Members, recognised for their commitment, dedication and contribution to the OCGA and Carey over many years. A Companion of the OCGA award was also introduced this year, awarded to a past Member, a current Member or a non-member to acknowledge a significant contribution to the OCGA over many years. The OCGA are proud to announce Julie Raftopolus (Current Staff) and Jim Keppel (Current Staff) as Companions of the OCGA. A Presidents Award was given out on the night, this award is given from the president of the OCGA to a member of the Carey community who has gone over and above for that year. In 2022 this award was given to Chris Angus (1995, VP Affiliated Groups) and Kellie Lyneham (Head of Senior School).
